Under the guidance and mentorship of the current Financial Controller you will be involved in several Business Finance partnering functions including the provision of project / job related cost information to the business management teams for margin analysis and product pricing support as well as supporting and participating in business improvement programs.
This role ideally suits an individual with manufacturing experience, who has ambitions of continuing to grow and take on further responsibility as time progresses alongside a proactive mindset and keen to get stuck into the detail and make improvements.
Stakeholder management is key, and as such you will need the ability to communicate at all levels and in varying situations and cope well under pressure.
Duties/responsibilities will include:
*The provision of timely and accurate management accounting information, via the preparation of daily metrics & performance reports, spend analysis, forecasts and budgets
*Detailed analysis and understanding of costs, including driving cost reduction initiatives across the business
*Working with various teams to drive efficiencies in the business
*Identifying opportunities for improvements across the business
*Ensuring that colleagues understand the management information supplied and correct actions are taken as a result
*Produce the month end accounts through to completion in line with AEN reporting deadlines
*Review accounts against plan / forecast, explaining any variances
*Cost control against budgets
*Sales & margin analysis as required
*Improvement and audit of internal procedures
*Ownership of financial transactions, forecasts and plans alongside the Controller
*Cost accounting
*Management of Inventory and ownership of Balance Sheet accounts
*Review of production variances
*Capital Equipment requests and ownership of the associated accounts
*Review of systems and analysis of risk
*Maintaining records and preparing management information, Forecast Review Packs and Budgetary information
