Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Contribute to the timely completion of month end closure including posting transactions, ensuring an accurate set of management accounts, and updating balance sheet reconciliations.
*Provide meaningful commentary on key variances of monthly performance to budget holders and senior management.
*Act as a key business partner to budget holders across the business, delivering meaningful management information to facilitate delivery of strategic objectives.
*Contribute to the forecasting process, challenging and holding stakeholders to account throughout the process and ensuring accurate, realistic, and achievable forecasts and budgets are completed in line with the agreed timetable.
*Identify opportunities to improve upon existing reporting to enable proactive decision making and improve profitability of the business.
*Act as a key point of contact for the auditors.
*Produce ad hoc financial reports as and when required.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
*Be at the finalist stage of the qualification or be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
*High level of analytical skills and high attention to detail.
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong Excel skills with the ability to use pivot tables and vlookups.
