High growth potential PE backed business based in the Halifax area currently require a Management Accountant to join their fast-paced finance function. The role will be working directly with the Financial Controller where you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts. As well as the production of budgets and ongoing forecasts in the areas of the business you are supporting. You will also be responsible for managing the fixed asset register and producing monthly stock valuations. Your main responsibilities and duties will include but will not limited to:
*Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
*Balance sheet reviews Monthly/Quarterly
*Production of monthly stock valuation
*Calculation and analysis of stock provision
*Production and monitoring of KPI's
*Preparation and reconciliation of fixed asset register
*VAT Returns
*Supporting year end audit
*Continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls
*To support the Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
*ACCA/CIMA part qualified Accountant or equivalent by experience.
*Intermediate Excel skills, ability to use pivot tables and VLOOKUPS.
*High attention to detail and accuracy.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Self-motivated and has the ability to work under own initiative.
*Previous experience within a management accountant position within the manufacturing industry (desirable).
