This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established business that has experienced a sustained period of growth which in turn has resulted in the business requiring an experienced Management Accountant to join the team. The business ideally are looking for a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant, part qualified accountant or someone that can demonstrate the relevant experience that matches up to the roles core duties. The business are based in Bradford with excellent commuter links from Leeds, Huddersfield and Halifax.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
*Producing month end journals with commentary
*Balance sheet reviews Monthly/Quarterly
*Continual review and improvement of procedures and processes
*Assisting with budget management and control
*Quarterly VAT returns
*Supporting yearend audit
*Provision of accurate financial analysis to aid decision making and improve financial performance.
*Ad hoc reporting as required
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
*ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified accountant or equivalent by experience
*Self-starter and highly motivated
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Advanced Excel skills with the ability to produce reports
*Experience with using BI as an analytical tool
