This is a fast-paced commercial role that will form a crucial link between finance and the wider business. Working closely with the CFO you will be responsible for developing and delivering accurate and timely management accounts and production reporting information to support the business as well as recognising key areas of improvement and profitability.
They are looking for an individual with great analytical and critical thinking as well as someone with leadership qualities and communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
*Prepare Monthly Management Accounts (Including P&L and Balance Sheet)
*Proactively identify process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy of reporting
*Business partnering with operational teams and conducting departmental budget reviews (Actual Vs Budget vs Forecast)
*Prepare month end balance reconciliation
*Establish cost models for the business to assist senior management and support pricing decisions in assessing profitability of current products and new opportunities.
*Stock management
*Assist the CFO with budgeting and forecasting as required
*Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
*Oversee and manage accounts and external payroll
*Develop strong working relationships with Group stakeholders and a thorough understanding of group reporting requirements
*Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider Group finance team to support completion of key deliverables
*Continuous improvement of systems and processes
*Assist with Ad-Hoc Projects
