Having continued to expand in new markets which has led to their team expansion, the client requires a Management Accountant to support in this new growth.
The Management Accountant will be a pivotal role within the organisation providing full accounting and commercial support, whilst working closely with the financial controller, who will mentor you through-out the process. This role has a clear pathway of progression suiting an ambitious and driven individual who wants to join a forward-thinking and innovative team.
Duties and responsibilities:
*Involvement in month-end (posting monthly journals, balance sheet reconciliations)
*Assisting in corporation tax returns (tax working papers, working with tax advisors)
*Assisting in VAT (producing group VAT returns)
*Assisting in cash flow (producing daily, weekly, monthly cash flow files)
*Assisting in the annual audit (audit working papers, substantive testing, working with auditors on site)
*Producing departmental P&Ls
*Working with managers across the business on cost development
*Any other Adhoc requirements (project work, system testing etc)
