Working with a successful and growing PE backed manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe, there is an immediate opportunity for Qualified by experience, full or part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent Accountant to support this business covering a period of absence for the Finance Manager.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and head of Finance this is a pivotal role within the organisation it is based on site Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm and Friday 8am till 1pm
Responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of the Management Accounts for the business unit
* Preparation of Weekly Cashflow
* Assisting with the reconciliation of an Asset Backed Loan facility
* Inventory and other account reconciliations
* Providing business partnering activities to Operations functions and stakeholders across the wider business
* Support for the Transactional Finance Functions
* Any other duties within the Finance function as is reasonably required
This role is available now and ideally suited to an individual who demonstrates sound technical accounting skills, a sleeves rolled up approach and a flexible approach to workload. Strong Excel skills (minimum pivot tables/VLOOKUP) are also required
