Interim Finance Manager

​Sharp Consultancy is proud to be partnering with a high-profile international organisation undertaking a major Finance Transformation Programme. We are seeking a proactive and delivery-focused Finance Project Manager to lead the Planning & Forecasting process, driving the development and implementation of enhanced financial planning processes across the organisation.

This is a key role for a finance professional who combines strong project management expertise with a deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. You’ll play a central part in improving forecasting accuracy, financial agility, and strategic insight — while leading the implementation of a new planning and forecasting software solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Planning & Forecasting process within a major transformation programme.

  • Review, design and implement standardised planning and forecasting frameworks.

  • Partner with finance and IT teams to implement new forecasting technology and tools.

  • Drive process improvement, automation, and cultural change within the finance function.

  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders, ensuring successful adoption of new methodologies.

About You:

  • Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP and planning tools (e.g. NetSuite, Power BI, Excel).

  • Proven track record in delivering finance transformation or system implementation projects.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.

  • Confident, adaptable, and results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
