Hugely successful, Private Equity backed, global, Financial Services business based in Leeds currently require a Management Accountant join their team. Working in a well -established business, with continuous development at the heart of what they do; you will be involved in a variety of duties. The role is for a Management Accountant - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of exposure to commercial aspects of finance. They will provide huge scope for progression both parallel and vertical opportunities that will open up during your time in this business.

The role has been newly created as the business embarks on the next stage of its development and growth through Private Equity investment, which are looking to continue their growth by key market acquisitions.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

* Take responsibility for timely and accurate booking and reporting
* Line manager for Assistant Management Accountants
* Help Assistant Management Accountants to learn and progress in their roles
* Cooperation with Financial Reporting managers and Financial Controllers
* Liaise with other areas of the business that provide/require financial information
* Ensure high quality in the deliveries aligning with company policies and internal control structure
* Take ownership of relevant accounting processes and seek to improve and make these more efficient and effective
* Self-development and curiosity to optimize and continuously improve
* Timely and efficiently recording and reporting of financial transactions in Oracle ERP
* Sign off reconciliations, approval of transactions, documentation
* Support/cooperation with other functions, e.g., FP&A, Business Partnering, Treasury, Payments, HR

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
