Group Management Accountant in Leeds

Established Shared Services company in Leeds now require an experienced ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Group Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role is newly created, so has an element of malleability to develop in various ways. As Group Management Accountant, you will report in to the FD and manage accounts for the four subsidiary areas of the business, as well as managing a small team of junior finance staff and be their first point of senior contact. In this role you will be responsible for:

*Preparing timely and accurate reports, budgets, commentaries and statements for the group subsidiaries
*Helping with, and undertaking financial administration and liaising with internal and external audits.
*Mentoring and supervising more junior accounts staff
*Forecasting and controlling income and expenditure for each subsidiary/ how they affect the company as a whole
*Generating and increasing shareholder value by creating effective business strategies
*Developing and managing financial systems/policies
*Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects.

Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or have the equivalent in past work experience, with a history of working in high turnover level management accounts.
