The role is for a Group Financial Accountant - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of progression opportunities available.
Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for:
* Producing reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in accordance with agreed timetables
* Central finance tasks/projects e.g. vehicle leasing, utilities, Capex analysis etc.
* Provide strong technical accounting input both in terms of IFRS and FRS102
* To assist with quarterly external IFRS SAP reporting forming the basis of the published; audited financial statements
* To support and develop reporting systems to assist local management, and to streamline and standardise reporting
* Coordinating with auditors (both internal and external)
* Preparation of annual statutory accounts, and assistance with external auditors
* Production of financial data and reports to agreed timetables
* Work with depot and commercial teams to enhance profitability of the business
* To ensure that the systems operate adequately to protect the division's financial and administrative integrity
* Advance and develop all procedures and systems
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
* Ideally, ACA or ACCA qualified with previous strong experiences within professional practice/audit.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
