Group Assistant Management Accountant

Job description

We’re partnering with a fast-growing division of a construction and property development business—an organisation renowned for delivering high-profile commercial developments across major international markets. Backed by strong financial resources and a track record of success, this business is shaping the future of commercial real estate with bold, sustainable, and strategically located developments.

As the company continues to expand its footprint and deliver large-scale commercial projects, they’re now looking for a Group Assistant Management Accountant to support the day-to-day finance operations and help deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting across the Group.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance function and play a meaningful role in supporting growth at scale—where your contributions will help ensure the smooth financial running of complex, multi-entity operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing the Group’s monthly consolidated Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy and alignment across entities.

  • Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts at Group and consolidated levels.

  • Review monthly submissions from regional and subsidiary finance teams, identifying errors, inconsistencies, or risks, and ensure submissions comply with Group standards.

  • Assist with intercompany reconciliations, financial analysis, and data consolidation across the Group.

  • Contribute to the delivery of Group finance projects, including process improvements, new system implementations, and enhanced reporting capabilities.

  • Provide support, training, and feedback to regional teams where needed.

  • Support the coordination and delivery of the annual audit process.

  • Maintain adherence to the Group accounting manual and ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

  • Previous experience in a finance team with exposure to month-end processes and reporting.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Confident communicator who can work collaboratively with finance colleagues across multiple regions and levels.

  • A proactive mindset and a drive to continuously improve systems, processes, and outputs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-stage or part-qualified finance professional to grow within a well-established, financially strong organisation operating at the forefront of global commercial property development.
