Management Accountant

As the business continues to expand, there is an exciting opportunity for a talented finance professional to join their team and support their mission to deliver exceptional care across all services.

This is a key role within the finance team, where you’ll be responsible for producing accurate, insightful financial reporting that directly supports operational decisions and strategic planning. Working closely with the Group Finance Manager, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring financial stability and enabling continued investment in high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts with detailed analysis

  • Produce profit and loss reports, providing variance commentary and recommendations

  • Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations

  • Lead the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting

  • Maintain financial accuracy through system reconciliations and checks

  • Support care home managers and operational teams with financial insight

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business-wide financial understanding

  • Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and process improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT or QBE

  • A proactive, well-organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills – able to translate numbers into clear business insights

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a drive for accuracy and integrity in reporting
