FP&A Analyst

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a long-established, rapidly evolving group of manufacturing businesses based in Doncaster as they look to appoint an ambitious FP&A Analyst.

 

This is a superb opportunity for an analytically minded AAT-qualified finance professional who is eager to step into a forward-facing role within a complex, fast-paced environment.

 

Working closely with the Finance Director and operational leadership teams, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality financial insight to support strategic decision-making across multiple sites.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the month-end process with insightful variance analysis and commentary

  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning cycles

  • Developing dashboards, KPI reporting and trend analysis to drive operational performance

  • Partnering with production and commercial teams to interpret financial data

  • Identifying risks, opportunities and efficiency improvements across the group

  • Supporting ongoing systems and reporting enhancements

 

You will bring:

  • AAT qualification (or equivalent) with strong progression ambitions

  • A passion for analysis, data interpretation and continuous improvement

  • Excellent Excel skills and a keen eye for accuracy

  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders

  • Previous experience within manufacturing or a similar product-based environment (advantageous)
