Working directly with the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee the full finance function whilst driving developments in the reporting process.
You will be joining a very exciting business in a period of growth, and, because of this, they are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join their team.
Working directly with the Finance Director, your duties will include:
*Preparing reports, commentaries, financial statements, and budgets for the various divisions
*Mentoring and supporting junior finance staff
*Preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations
*Liaising with senior board members and managerial staff, ensuring finance processes are running smoothly
*Responsibility for annual cost budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts
*Ensuring efficient and accurate production and reporting of accounts
*Managing and developing financial systems and policies
*Control over cost
*Controlling and forecasting company income and expenditure
*Creating and implementing business strategies to generate company value
*Liaise with senior stake holders across sales, marketing and IT presenting financial information to none finance areas.
Candidate Requirements:
*Ideally, hold an accounting/finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Have excellent communication skills
*Previous experience in supporting/managing junior staff.
Ideally, you will be fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and be able to demonstrate strong career achievements to date within a management accountant/financial accountant position.
