Hugely successful business based in Selby currently require a Group Financial Accountant join their team. Working in a well -established business, with continuous development at the heart of what they do; you will be involved in a variety of duties. The role is for a Financial Accountant - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of progression opportunities available.

Reporting Directly into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

 Producing reconciled monthly and year-end accounts in accordance with agreed timetables
 Central finance tasks/projects e.g. vehicle leasing, utilities, Capex analysis etc.
 Provide strong technical accounting input both in terms of IFRS and FRS102
 To assist with quarterly external IFRS SAP reporting forming the basis of the published; audited financial statements
 To support and develop reporting systems to assist local management, and to streamline and standardise reporting
 Coordinating with auditors (both internal and external)
 Preparation of annual statutory accounts, and assistance with external auditors
 Production of financial data and reports to agreed timetables
 Work with depot and commercial teams to enhance profitability of the business
 To ensure that the systems operate adequately to protect the division's financial and administrative integrity
 Advance and develop all procedures and systems

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

* ACCA/ACA qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
