Specialist logistics business based in Harrogate currently have an opening for an experienced CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Financial Accountant to join the business at an exciting time in their expansion. This role will be varied and fast paced, working with all four entities of the group. Reporting into the group Financial Controller you will have the opportunity to enter at a senior level working closely with senior stake holders across the business. Your initial duties will include:
·Preparing reports, commentaries, financial statements and budgets for the various group entities
·Undertaking of internal audits and overseeing junior finance staff.
·Liaising with senior board members and managerial staff, ensuring finance processes are running smoothly
·Ensuring efficient and accurate production and reporting of accounts
·Managing and developing financial systems and policies
·Taking part and developing major projects
·Controlling and forecasting company income and expenditure
·Creating and implementing business strategies to generate company value
