Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be supporting a fast-growing, private equity–backed business based in Chesterfield is seeking an ambitious Finance Manager to join its leadership team.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial direction of a dynamic, growth-focused organisation.

 

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will take full ownership of the company’s management accounting, reporting, and forecasting processes.

 

You’ll provide the financial insight and control needed to support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

 

This is a hands-on and varied position — ideal for someone who thrives in a commercial, PE-backed setting and enjoys being close to the numbers while also influencing the bigger picture.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting

  • Budgeting and reforecasting across the business, including variance analysis

  • Development and delivery of commercial analysis and KPI reporting to support decision-making

  • Cashflow management and forecasting

  • Partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive performance

  • Continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting

 

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in a management accounting or finance business partner role

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into insight

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, change-driven environment

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
