Sharp Consultancy are partnering on an exclusive basis with a leading marketing business in the Sheffield area for a Finance Manager. You will be responsible for key commercial information and support towards the financial and strategic operation of the company's major projects with key clients and your main duties will include;
*Management of finance and accounting for a Germany subsidiary
*Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements of the companies
*Balance sheet planning and forecasting
*Responsibility for accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and general ledger including liquidity planning, receivables and cash management, insurance and taxes
*FP&A activities for German entity in the form of monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet forecasts and variance analysis, as well as annual plan
*Cash flow planning
*Active operational involvement in daily business
*As a key appointment you will also work closely with operations/sales to ensure efficient and effective information flow and accuracy by adding value on financial information via clear communication to business owners.
You will be a fully qualified accountant and must be German speaking, at a level comfortable enough to communicate effectively at a conversational and written level with a significant desire to progress within a highly commercial environment at one.
The location is completely flexible and remote working full time will not affect the role.

The successful candidate will need to have effective communication skills including the ability to present and discuss financial information to senior stake holders as well as the ability to judge and manage priorities effectively and work to tight timescales.
