Fantastic Finance Manager opportunity for a business based in the Bradford area. The client is looking for a strong manager that has proven experience in management accounts and improving financial performance. After a period of sustained growth and a lucrative new contract win they now require a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant, part qualified accountant or someone that can demonstrate the relevant experience that matches up to the roles core duties to really push the business to be more effective and efficient.
Working closely with the head of finance and finance director as well as other departments in the business you will be responsible for challenging and improving financial performance working with senior stake holders while managing a team of management accountants.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
*Consolidation and production of accurate monthly management accounts and forecasts.
*Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast.
*Setting quarterly budgets.
*Produce management information for Board meetings.
*Review P&L's.
*Assisting with yearend audit.
*Commercial analysis and reporting.
*Continuous review and improvement of processes and procedures.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
*Hold an accounting qualification or be a finalist that is actively studying towards qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Proven commercial experience
*Ability to communicate effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders
*Self-starter
*Excellent interpersonal communication skills
*Advanced Excel skills with the ability to produce reports
*Experience with using BI as an analytical tool
