Sharp Consultancy is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics business in the Rotherham area for a Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the financial support towards the financial and strategic operation of the company's major clients and your key duties will include;
-Management of the monthly accounts process
-Provide variance and cost analysis of specific projects
-Maintain and improve reporting systems
-Management of the budget and forecasting procedures
-Manage P&L towards the year end financials
-Management and development of a small team
-Senior management leadership and strategy development
-Involvement and leadership of key projects
-Management of the finance function, including transactional staff
You will be a fully qualified accountant with a significant desire to progress within a highly commercial environment at one of the most recognisable and fastest growing businesses in the area.
The successful candidate will need to have effective communication skills including the ability to present and discuss financial information to senior stake holders as well as the ability to judge and manage priorities effectively and work to tight timescales.
