Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a market-leading manufacturing business in their recruitment for a Finance Manager. This business are at the foothold of the manufacturing industry, supplying their bespoke products nationwide. Following recent successes and continual year upon year growth, the business is looking to expand their finance function with the addition of a Finance Manager following an internal promotion. The Finance Manager will have full ownership of start to end processes within the finance function.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced individual looking to extend their career into a Finance Manager role with a more hands-on approach in an SME environment. You will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for multiple-stakeholder management across the business. You will bring a creative and innovative approach to the Senior Management Team whilst being practical and level-headed in your problem-solving capabilities. Previous Finance Manager experience is essential.
Duties include:
* Maintain sales and purchase ledgers
* Credit control and bank reconciliations
* Payroll processing
* VAT returns and HMRC liaison (PAYE, P11D's, P32's and Pension Schemes)
* Credit Card and expense reconciliation
* Month-end responsibility and reporting
* Management of annual Budgeting and Forecasting process
* Implementation of Financial processes and controls
* Prepare board packs and provide commentary for Board members and MD
* Liaise with external accountants
* Assist in the production of annual financial statements and accounts
Person Specification:
* ACA /ACCA / CIMA Part-Qualified or Qualified
* Commercially minded
