The role our client is recruiting for is a Finance Assistant is to support the wider finance team and cover a period of maternity. This an outstanding opportunity for a talented Finance professional to join a high growth business.
Main duties:
* Daily bank reconciliation including foreign currency transactions
* Posting bank payments and receipts on to Sage
* Credit card postings
* Raising ad hoc sales invoices
* Rating foreign currency invoices
* Import/export paperwork preparation and liaising with freight forwarders
* Credit control
* Processing bank payments
* Assist with purchase ledger and provide holiday cover
* Assist with month end reconciliations
* Assist with the preparation of European VAT returns
