Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a prominent international services organisation based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, as they seek to appoint a Finance Analyst into a newly created role.

 

This position will play a central part in strengthening the FP&A function, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A and providing oversight to a small team. It offers a genuinely hands on remit with clear ownership of business planning, reporting, and core commercial processes. The role delivers a strong blend of strategic value creation and proactive business planning—well suited to individuals who excel in forward looking, commercially focused environments.

Benefits to include:

  • Salary between £55,000 - £60,000

  • Discretionary Bonus Scheme

  • 2 days WFH

  • 25 days AL + 8 BH

  • Purchase 5 extra days AL

 

Duties and Responsibilities to include:

  • Lead monthly revenue forecasting and annual planning processes, ensuring accuracy, insight, and alignment with strategic objectives

  • Produce weekly flash reports that clearly highlight emerging trends and key performance drivers

  • Take full ownership of KPI reporting, ensuring consistency, and clarity across the business

  • Support gross profit forecasting, closely monitoring cost drivers and underlying performance

  • Own the development and maintenance of the annual budget and business plan model, delivering outputs that directly support executive level decision making

  • Provide high quality financial analysis and reporting to support effective planning and performance management across the wider organisation

  • Lead the financial modelling processes, including enhancing model responsiveness and robustness where required

  • Drive continuous improvement of financial modelling, reporting frameworks, and analytical processes

  • Utilise Power BI to enhance reporting quality, insight, and accessibility for stakeholders

 

Person Specification:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
