Our client is a well-established, successful and growing independent firm of accountants. They have an excellent reputation in the local market across Yorkshire and the North West with offices on both sides of the Pennines. As part of the Firm's succession plan they are looking for an individual to take responsibility for part of an existing portfolio whilst also pro-actively generating new clients of their own. Their office is commutable from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield and the West side of Leeds.

We would like to hear from candidates who enjoy client interaction and have experience of delivering a broad range of accounting services to a varied client portfolio. The majority of clients will be owner managed businesses and you will be comfortable delivering everything from management accounts preparation to taxation excluding audit. The role will also advise business owners through exit and acquisition processes, re-financing and restructuring activity.

As well as delivering on a technical basis, the successful candidate must be commercially astute. You might have a client following of your own but if not, you will be able to demonstrate an interest and ability in developing new prospects through specific marketing and networking activity.

As a key component in the long-term plan, your enthusiasm and ability will be rewarded with an increasing profit share as you demonstrate success with new and existing clients alike.

This is without doubt a great opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to remain in or even return to Practice after a period in industry. You must be ACA, CA or ACCA qualified, comfortable working in a client facing capacity and able to demonstrate a solid and progressive track record in a Professional firm.
