Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant

​Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for credit control and sales ledger management? We’re looking for a proactive and personable Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant to join our clients small but dynamic finance team in Bradford.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in managing the end-to-end credit control process, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Chasing outstanding payments and ensuring customers pay within agreed terms

  • Resolving invoice queries and reconciling sales invoices and statements

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customer accounts teams

  • Producing weekly credit control reports and managing large account relationships

  • Supporting with cash receipt allocation, raising sales invoices, and month-end reconciliations

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who is:

  • Experienced in credit control and sales ledger processes

  • Confident communicating with customers and internal teams

  • Organised, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Comfortable working independently in a small team environment

  • Proficient in finance systems and Excel (experience with [insert software if applicable])
