Credit Controller – Leeds

​A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller on a temporary/fixed-term contract to join a leading professional services organisation. This role offers the chance to take ownership of client accounts, build strong relationships, and play a key part in reducing aged debt across a high-value ledger.

Credit Controller - What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing a dedicated UK and international client ledger

  • Proactively chasing outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence

  • Liaising with fee earners, partners, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate billing

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support payment performance

  • Producing aged debt reports and contributing to cashflow forecasts

  • Supporting wider finance and month-end reporting processes

  • Meeting team and individual debt reduction targets

Credit Controller - What we’re looking for:

  • Proven Credit Control experience, ideally in professional services or B2B

  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging clients

  • Proactive, organised approach to chasing debt and managing queries

  • Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems

  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels
