Credit Control – Bradford

Job description

​A busy finance team in BD12 is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join them on an interim basis, with the potential for part-time or full-time hours. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the credit control and sales ledger function while supporting the wider finance team.

What you’ll be doing as an Interim Credit Controller

  • Managing the full end-to-end credit control process

  • Ensuring customers pay within agreed terms

  • Building positive relationships with customer accounts and resolving invoice queries

  • Producing weekly credit control reports and completing reconciliations

  • Allocating cash receipts, raising sales invoices, and supporting month-end processes

  • Assisting the Finance Director and wider team with ad-hoc finance duties

Credit Controller - What we’re looking for

  • GCSEs in English & Maths

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication, able to liaise with colleagues at all levels

  • Previous credit control or sales ledger experience

  • AAT qualification is desirable but not essential

Credit Controller - What’s on offer

  • Interim role, part-time (24 hours) or full-time (37.5 hours)

  • Fully office-based in BD12

  • Pay on a weekly timesheet basis, FTE equivalent up to £29k
