The main duties of this role include:
* Responsible for Credit Control activities
* Updating reports in relation to cash collection performance, risks identified and recommended actions to take
* Assess new customers to ensure they comply with the company's risk and credit policities
* Manage high risk customers in line with credit policy, and implement suitable strategies to alleviate risk and return within contractual terms
* If required, perform legal processes for debt collection
* Ad hoc reporting or project activities
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience of working in an Accounts Recievable, Debt Collection or Credit Analysis background is essential
* Experience of working with accountancy software (ideally SAP or Excel)
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
* Good query resolution and the ability to handle difficult scenarios
