Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a global firm of chartered accountants as they look to recruit an ambitious audit senior to join their Leeds national markets team.
As an audit senior joining a global powerhouse you will be given the opportunity to fast track your development and gain further experience into large corporate audit from planning through to completion including audit fieldwork, incorporating market leading analytical tools and procedures into your work, delegate tasks across the team and build relationships with clients for a variety of specialist industry sectors.
The role:
*Successfully completing a diverse mix of corporate audits from planning to completion.
*Offering technical support relating to all audit work including the identification of issues and analysis of data.
*Delegating to others and supporting with the development of junior staff.
*Building connections across teams and specialist areas.
*Developing new insights and proposing innovative solutions to help enhance audit quality.
*Put the team first by coaching with purpose, being present with the team and openly communicating expectations.
What you need:
*ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualified.
*Experience of IFRS and UK GAAP (desirable).
*Strong organisational skills, experience of undertaking audit from planning to completion.
*Ability to review the work of others', providing commentary and feedback to support the team's technical development and enhance audit quality.
