Sharp Consultancy is working with a leading IT company in Leeds that is looking for a Commercial Accountant to join their finance team.
* Providing financial insight and support to the business, ensuring that key decisions are based on robust data and analysis
* You will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, pricing, profitability
* Preparation of the balance sheet
* Reporting and advice management on tax issues
* Focus on business partnering with various stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar commercial finance role, preferably in the IT sector
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels
* Strong Excel and modelling skills, with experience of using ERP systems
* A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
