Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established firm in Sheffield looking to recruit an Audit and Accounts Senior.
The role is due to a series of internal promotions and as a result the successful applicant will be working alongside the newly promoted Audit and Accounts Manager, supporting with a portfolio of corporate clients (£15-35m TO).
Our client is an impressive firm of chartered accountants with a great reputation in the market and an excellent business services department providing full accounting and advisory services across Yorkshire.
The role of Accounts and Audit Senior will be varied but will have accounts focus with audit work being more common during portions of the year, the successful applicant could also be someone coming from a pure audit background looking to get broader experience working with SMEs.
With a no overtime culture any additional time working within the 35-hour work week is to be taken back (as TOIL) or to be stacked for an additional 2 weeks annual leave on top of the 26 + 8 days offered.
Responsibilities:
· Producing statutory accounts for limited companies
· Completing corporation tax returns
· Audit work from planning through to completion
· Producing partnership and sole trader accounts and tax returns
· Ensuring completion of assignments within appropriate budget and time frame
· Reporting directly to the Business Services Manager
· Maintaining and building strong client relationships
What's on offer:
*£38,000-£42,000 basic salary
*5-10% bonus
