The company pride themselves on internal development and as such are looking for an ambitious assistant management accountant to support the senior finance team.
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting Management Accountants with month end, preparation of reports, commentaries, financial statements, and budgets for the various divisions
* Accountability for ensuring efficient and accurate production and reporting of accounts
* Taking part and developing projects alongside senior staff
* Gain full exposure on forecasting company income and expenditure
* Creating and implementing business strategies to generate company value
* Identifying opportunities for improvements across the business, and then assist implementation
* Assistance with internal and external audits
* Supporting on cost control against company budgets
* Provide analysis with constructive advice on findings on both opportunities and risks, feeding into the Finance Controller and Finance Director of the business
Ideally you will be studying towards your AAT qualification with the ability to demonstrate strong career achievements to date within an assistant accountant/financial accountant position.
