Assistant Management Accountant in Leeds

Excellent business in the Leeds area is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant who is part qualified and actively studying towards full qualification in either CIMA or ACCA. The business has continued their impressive year on year performance which has in turn lead to further growth and the need to recruit into the finance function. You will work closely with the finance Manager and Director and assist with the full preparation of the monthly management accounts for the Group's various businesses and be involved in different ad hoc financial tasks.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
*Preparing management accounts for the Group's businesses.
*Balance sheet and bank reconciliations for each company.
*Gathering information for other statutory requirements, such as P11ds, statutory accounts and tax information.
*Ensue the continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls.
*Support with ad hoc projects and reporting.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:

*ACCA/CIMA part qualified accountant or equivalent by experience.
*Ability to effectively prioritise workload.
*Be a self-starter that can solve problems using logical thinking.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
*Excellent excel skills with the ability to use pivot tables and vlookups.
