This opportunity will allow an individual who is 2-3 years within their career, that is looking for a development pathway, which will be working closely with an impressive Financial Controller, playing a pivotal part within the Finance Team.
The role will include duties such as:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments, fixed assets, and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting and overseeing the receivables ledger
* Supporting the forecasting and budgeting process and Statutory accounts
* VAT Returns
* Supporting month end
* Variance and analysis work, with presentation to the Financial Director
* Involvement with process improvement drive efficiency's
* Overseeing the import and export controls, including liaising with shipping/logistics providers
The Individual:
* AAT Level 3 Qualified, with the ambition to complete further qualifications
* Strong communication skills, with the experience of being able to challenge and influence financial and non-financial people
* Ability to demonstrate evidence of working under pressure and to meet short deadlines
* Strong Excel skills, including Vlookups & Pivot tables
