Working as part of a team of 9 in newly refurbished offices, you will report directly to the owner of the business and be involved every aspect of client work from the initial bookkeeping through to quarterly VAT returns, tax computations and full accounts preparation. You will also assist with reviewing the work of junior team members and help to train apprentices.
My client is looking for someone who has previous experience of accounts production in accountancy practice, who can prepare accounts for small limited companies to draft stage without much supervision. Good excel spreadsheet skills are essential, and you should also have good interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and a positive attitude. There will be opportunities to grow with the firm as it continues its expansion.
