Our client are one of leading names in business in Leeds. They are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. The business are looking to consolidate their position in their market and this is an excellent time to join the business. This is an extremely varied position will offer an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of work to supplement academic study.
Duties will include:
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Consolidation of Group Management Accounts
*Production of monthly board packs
*Group profit reconciliation
*Assist in the year end audit
*Bank reconciliations
This role will suit a candidate with good attention to detail. The ability to work on your own initiative is something that or client is particularly keen for the successful candidate to demonstrate. Our client are looking for someone who has the ambition to drive their career and who thrives on challenge.
The role will be based in Leeds. Our client are based just outside the city centre but have ample parking and are well served by public transport links. Our client have some flexibility on home working and extensive measures have been taken to cover Covid19 regulations inside their office complex.
