They are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this opportunity is perfect for someone who has been in a similar Accounts Assistant role that looks after all aspects of transactional finance, including Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, and weekly wages.
They Key duties of this role will include :
* Sales Ledger - Daily cash posting and allocations, Credit control, Month end reconciliations, customer credit checks
* Purchase Ledger - Prepare & Process supplier payments, reconcile supplier statements, post & allocate payments
* Maintain and post Cash book
* Weekly wages - Process clock cards, check reports & approve payments, maintain holidays and sickness through HR system
* Send Credit Card Statements
Skills and experience:
- Experience with both Sales & Purchase Ledger
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
- High level of organisation
- Highly motivated and Diligent
- Experience with Pegasus/Opera (Beneficial)
