Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a highly rated firm of chartered accountants based in the heart of Sheffield that are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant.

Our client, a well-established firm have a wide range of clients within their portfolio are looking for an individual who is level 3 or 4 AAT qualified to assist their team of experts.

This is a fantastic role for somebody who is looking to kick start their career in accountancy practice, there is an amazing progression pathway for this role, this includes full study support for the ACCA and the opportunity to work closely with one of the managers within the team to support with studies and development.

The successful applicant must have at least 1 years' experience in accountancy practice, experience with SAGE is desired but not mandatory.


What's on offer:
* £22,000 - £24,000 starting salary

Duties and responsibilities:

* Preparation of VAT returns
* Client bookkeeping
* Supporting with annual accounts productions
* Bank Reconciliations
* Liaising with HMRC and assisting with any queries
