The main duties of this role include:
* Responsible for the subcontract ledger
* Setting up new subcontractor accounts
* Weekly payment runs
* Month end CIS submissions and reporting
* Overseeing the manual payments process
* Daily cash reporting and maintaining the cash book spreadsheet
* Cash allocation - from income and expenditure from daily bank statements to the relevant ledgers
* Utility payments
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Relevant experience of working in a finance team
* Relevant accounting qualification (e.g. AAT)
* Experience of working with relevant accountancy software
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
