Accountant (Part-Qualified)

Sharp Consultancy is pleased to be working with an established and growing IT/Education training business, looking to add an actively studying Part-Qualified Accountant to their Finance team.

 

In this position you will be working closely with the Head of Finance, responsible for managing cash and bank functions, recording financial transactions, and producing reports as required.

 

This role is ideal for Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA candidates who are actively studying and looking to become a Fully Qualified Accountant. This position offers significant scope for professional development, with the opportunity to work with the wider finance team on a variety of engaging projects.

 

You will gain excellent insight operating alongside the Head of Finance, providing a valuable opportunity to broaden your practical experience while continuing your studies towards becoming a Fully Qualified Accountant.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recording financial transactions and preparing reports.

  • Managing the cash and bank function.

  • Assisting the wider finance team with additional projects.

  • Preparing payroll and pension function.

Who you are:

  • Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA.

  • Proficient in using Sage and Excel.

  • Prior payroll experience.

  • Well organised, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach.

  • Strong attention to detail.
