​Will McHugh joined Sharp Consultancy in 2025 as a Consultant, bringing a broad commercial background and a strong understanding of finance-led recruitment. He completed a BA (Hons) in Business and Managerial Economics at Leeds Beckett University before beginning his recruitment career in specialist sectors including agriculture and renewable energy. He also gained valuable industry experience as an Assistant Accountant at ENGIE, becoming part-qualified in CIMA and gaining first-hand insight into finance roles and career progression.

At Sharp Consultancy, Will supports the Leeds team across the part-qualified and qualified finance markets, focusing on candidate mapping, sourcing, and talent attraction across West and North Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. He plays a key role in identifying high-quality talent and building strong candidate pipelines to support successful placements.

Described by friends as outgoing, reliable with a good sense of humour, Will brings an approachable and personable style to his work, building genuine relationships and delivering a positive experience for candidates and colleagues alike.

Outside of work, Will enjoys golf, travelling, and has a passion for classic cars, regularly travelling across the UK and Europe to watch and take part in classic car racing.
