The candidate's responsibilities include:
* Daily blocked orders are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
* Efficient use of side trade - complete workflow actions with accurate notes.
* Ensure all work is correctly documented for weekly management reviews.
* Prepare accounts for pre legal action.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues impacting payment collection
* Review credit applications and assess creditworthiness of new customers
* Set credit limits for customers based on their payment history and financial stability
* Provide regular reports on accounts receivable status to management
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
* Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role (required not essential)
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
* Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
