We are currently working with one of Garforths' top manufacturing companies, looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. 2019 was a record year, with continued expansion and success, and this role has been created as a senior role within the team, to take full responsibility for the company management accounts and help with pay rol1.

Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, ready to further your experience and gain insight working in a successful and growing business. In this role you will be working in a regulated industry, so similar experience in manufacturing is highly valuable. You will report directly to the FD and Board, steering and influencing financial decisions that will be of key importance in the future of the business. As well as a variety of ad hoc tasks, your responsibilities will include:
*Management and leadership during month and year end processes. Ensuring the final accounts are produced accurately and in a timely fashion. You will then be responsible for reporting the figures to the Board and FD, giving a clear picture of what it means for business.
*Assisting with Payroll
*Driving detailed variance analysis and reporting results.
*Supporting Head Office with any queries or questions they may have with regards to company finance.
*Implement policies and internal controls for group accounting.
*Work collaboratively with Business Partners and work together to discuss and implement ideas and improve the company
*Leading the finance team to achieve short term and long term goals.
*Act as a liaison between the finance team and the board, keeping processes streamlined and efficient.
