Sharp Consultancy are exclusively working with a fast-growing manufacturing organisation based in Sheffield in sourcing a Senior HR Advisor to their team.
This is a brand-new position within the company and as part of the role, you will take ownership of the company's human resources and training as the role will involve a lot of exposure to giving general HR advice.
Ideally you will have a strong administrative/HR background who has a flexible approach due to involvement with a variety of departments in implementing best practices - as such you will need good communication skills, alongside good system/Microsoft office skills.
Duties/responsibilities will include:
*Guidance for lower management in performance/disciplinary issues
*Advise on general HR queries for example maternity, paternity, flexible working requests
*Training system development and management of compliance
*Time management and link to payroll
*Induction process development
*H&S support - mandatory and compliance training and audits
*Job descriptions and work instructions (part of training)
*Company policy development and updates
*Recruitment and onboarding, right to work checks, reference checks
*Source and organise any external training requirements
*Development of 'employer of choice'/employee benefits offered
