This high turnover business operates across the UK with an office in Rotherham and as part of their strategic growth plan, a Senior Finance Analyst position has been created. This role will be pivotal in providing financial and strategic input into all key business decisions, in reviewing, assessing and challenging business performance as well as identifying profit improvement opportunities.
They require a driven, ambitious individual who will be involved in innovating new/automated ways of providing greater business intelligence both in terms of looking at the past or planning for the future and always challenging the business to achieve more.
Duties and responsibilities
*Support Finance Managers to generate growth and savings programmes to deliver business performance targets
*Support all capex opportunities to deliver maximum value to the region, lead customer tenders and all other performance improvement activities etc
*Prepare in-depth analysis and present recommendations
*Support, prepare and review large tenders for key customers and suppliers
*Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance: economic trends, changes to key customer circumstances, changes in legislation, competitor performance etc
*Support finance manager in rolling forecasting, annual budgeting and strategic planning processes
*Challenge and review of business forecasts, reporting on key risk and opportunities and support in the escalation of business issues with timely financial analysis
