Our client is a leading organisation based in the bustling business centre of York. You will be an integral part of the finance leadership team. You will have an excellent mentor who is one the most respected professionals in the field. This role will suit a candidate who is ready to take a step up to manage a small team. Due to the nature of the role our client is looking for a self-starter and someone who can work on their own initiative.
Duties will include:
* Support/lead a team of clerks including regular 1-1's
* Resolve queries raised by practices and escalated by the team
* Ensure the team meets deadlines set by the wider business.
* Review Invoice posting and manage the debit balances
* Ensure payment run are completed within the agreed timescales.
* Working with other areas and suppliers, to resolve issues in the business e.g. Property queries, disposals, improvements in process.
* Look to develop and improve processes to meet objectives set by the finance function.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be resilient and have a can do attitude.
