A small business based in Leeds are looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to its team small finance team of 5 based on the outskirts of Leeds (Yeadon area).

The role is to work as part of an established team with a view to developing their career in accounts over the long term.

The duties include, but are not limited to -

*Sorting incoming supplier invoices for processing (predominantly soft copies by email, some hard copies by post)
*Matching materials invoices to PO's and obtaining authorisation for non-PO invoices
*Coding invoices
*Posting invoices & credits to Sage50
*Updating Job Costing Excel-based spreadsheets
*Processing supplier payments
*Preparing, reviewing, finalising suggested payments due
*Inputting and allocating payments to Sage50
*Sending remittances
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
*Processing monthly payroll for staff employees
*Setting up new Supplier Accounts in Sage50
