Working in a decent sized AP team of c5 you will be responsible for the management and efficient running of your own area of the Purchase Ledger. Ensuring all purchase invoices are processed effectively, matched accurately and making sure that making sure that all queries are dealt with in a professional manner.

The duties include, but are not limited to:

*Ensuring invoices are appropriately authorised
*Completing 3 way match process with Purchase Order, Invoice and Delivery Note
*Coding invoices with purchase order or nominal code and posting invoices on to the purchase ledger
*Generating purchase ledger payment run
*Reconcile invoices to supplier statement and investigating any differences
*Maintain and review of aged creditors list
*Filing of purchase invoices
*Ensuring invoice and payment files and policies and procedures are complete and kept up-to-date
*Answering supplier telephone queries
*Any other task consistent with Purchase Ledger as required by the Financial Controller

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

*Previous experience in a similar AP role ideally within a Construction business
*Experience of dealing with subcontractors is a huge benefit
*Knowledge of Sage 200 preferred along with a good knowledge of Excel
*High levels of attention to detail and organisation
*Friendly, polite and professional
*Approachable and helpful
*Able to work on own and as part of a team
