A company based in south Leeds require an experienced Purchase ledger Clerk to join their dynamic finance team, for a growing business. Due to the current demands of the market, a Purchase Ledger Clerk is needed to join the small finance team to keep pace with processing requirements and production of financial information.

The candidate's responsibilities will include:
*Managing the purchase ledger: Checking & posting invoices, reconciliations, queries & preparing payments runs.
*Liaising with the Financial Controller as well as other members of the senior finance team in order to ensure efficiency around the office.
*Posting customer receipts.
*Providing transactional cover for the accountant for whenever they are not in the office.
*Ad-hoc tasks that may be required.
*Expenses for staff to be submitted into the finance system.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
*A proactive, enthusiastic approach to work, demonstrating key communication across the finance team.
*The ability to adapt and use initiative to tackle personal workload, as well as liaising with management to distribute responsibilities.
*Proficiency using Microsoft packages.
*Being able to complete work in an organised, timely manner.
